mais pourquoi sont-ils si méchants ?

We Play House Recordings est un label de gros haters, si l'on en croit tous les messages de haine écrits un peu partout sur leurs pochettes d'EP: "Our music sounds better than yours"; "a lot of people claim to own a record label but we do own more than just a laptop and a beatport account".

Cette haine assumée contraste pourtant avec le message d'amour dispensé par cette mystérieuse "Marlène" sur l'EP de DJ Yellow et on se demande alors pourquoi le label flamand s'évertue à faire le dur alors qu'au fond, la deep house, c'est quand même un truc de garçon sensible.

"What's funny about most of that is that these biters wouldn't be able to steal and these 20-and 25-year old “house purists” wouldn't feel so haughty if it weren't for technology making it easy to claim an experience they otherwise couldn't. Hell, there are plenty of amazing people playing now. Go experience them. Get some floor time. That's really what it's about – getting out and going to the nearest place where there is good music, a good atmosphere and enjoying yourself. Keep your blend critiques and enjoy some people first."
